The German Development Institute / Deutsches Institut für Entwicklungspolitik (DIE), the United Nations University Institute for Environment and Human Security and the University of Bonn invited to an evening on Art and Sustainablity on Wednesday, 3 April 2019.

Tone Bjordam showed her recent piece "Water" and focused on how nature can help to trigger a state of mind which generates new ideas and how art and sustainability can interact.

Dirk Wilutzky showed experts from his series "What is it to be done?" He elaborated on this vision of a sustainable world and what art and film can do to engage all of society in the critical process of moving towards sustainablity.

Dirk Messner guided the audience through the evening. He is the Director of the United Nations University, Institute for Environment and Human Security and he has spent more than three decades researching all aspects of sustainability.
