Es ist notwendig, besser zu verstehen, was stabile, kohäsive und friedliche Staaten und Gesellschaften ausmacht. Dieses Cluster konzentriert sich auf die Dynamiken und Identifizierung von Institutionen, Politiken und Akteuren, die dazu beitragen Herausforderungen zu begegnen, die Konflikte, Fragilität und Flucht mit sich bringen, sowie auf die Frage, welche Rolle externes Engagement spielen kann, um gesellschaftlichen Zusammenhalt zu fördern und Konflikte zu verhindern.
