The World in 2050
The World in 2050 (TWI2050) is a global research initiative in support of a successful implementation of the United Nations’ 2030 Agenda. The goal of TWI2050 is to provide the fact-based knowledge to support the policy process and implementation of the SDGs.

Project description
In this consortium, methods of integrated assessment analysis are being combined with concepts from social sciences on dymamics of social changes and governance. The project cooperates with international organisations like the Organisation for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD), the World Bank an the European Union. In the context of this project and in collaboration with the Oscar-winning director Dirk Wilutzky, a movie "The World in 2050 - Our future in the Anthropocene) will be produced.
