The Trade for Sustainable Development Forum brings together business people, researchers, standards organizations and international trade officials to discuss trends in sustainable value chains and voluntary sustainability standards.

Two sessions will focus on the specific challenges and opportunities faced by small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) with regard to voluntary sustainability standards (VSS) and the related demand for finance. Those are organized by the German Development Institute / Deutsches Institut für Entwicklungspolitik (DIE) as part of its Managing Global Governance (MGG) Network and supported by the United Nations Forum on Sustainability Standards.
