This event is co-organized by CIFAL York and the German Development Institute / Deutsches Institut für Entwicklungspolitik (DIE), with the collaboration of Grantham Institute for Climate Change and the Environment, Imperial College London. At York University, event partners are York International; the UNESCO Chair in Reorienting Education towards Sustainability, and the Synergies of Planetary Health Research Initiative & Lab, with the support of the Dahdaleh Institute for Global Health Research; the Faculty of LA&PS, SSHRC Knowledge-Mobilization Program.

Held shortly before the Glasgow Climate Conference COP26, this knowledge-exchange dialogue will bring researchers and practitioners together for an in-depth discussion on joint action for climate and biodiversity, aligned with the Sustainable Development Goals. The purpose is to set the foundation for the co-creation of concrete recommendations to strengthen stakeholder engagement at scale for integrated action for climate, nature, and people.

Participation is by invitation. The event will feature main stage panels for participants, parallel interactive discussion roundtables, and a plenary webinar for a broader audience.
