On 25 and 26 September 2013, the German Development Institute / Deutsches Institut für Entwicklungspolitik (DIE) was hosting its third international workshop on ‘Mobilising domestic revenue in developing countries’. This event built on the experience of workshops held in 2011 and 2012 where development scholars and practitioners discussed new research and policy trends in the area of ‘tax and development’. As in previous years, the event brought together renowned international scholars, government officials and representatives of international and German development institutions.
