Against the backdrop of global geopolitical tensions, in this report we look at current structural challenges in international cooperation. The contributions deal with new opportunities for future development financing, ways to increase policy coherence for sustainable development, or China's status as a developing country. We also ask how development cooperation can help improve the prospects of displaced people, and present approaches to decolonising knowledge as well as our guidelines on research ethics at IDOS. We also look back on our 60th anniversary as an institute, which we celebrated in 2024 with many of you - our partners in research, policy advice, knowledge cooperation and training. 

Vor dem Hintergrund globaler geopolitischer Spannungen blicken wir in diesem Bericht auf aktuelle Strukturfragen internationaler Kooperation. Die Beiträge befassen sich mit neuen Chancen für die zukünftige Entwicklungsfinanzierung, mit Wegen zu mehr Politikkohärenz für nachhaltige Entwicklung, oder mit Chinas Status als Entwicklungsland. Wir gehen auch der Frage nach, wie Entwicklungszusammenarbeit dazu beitragen kann, die Aussichten für Vertriebene zu verbessern und stellen Ansätze zur Dekolonialisierung von Wissen sowie zur Forschungsethik am IDOS dar. Am Rande blicken wir auf unser 60-jähriges Institutsjubiläum, das wir 2024 mit vielen von Ihnen – unseren Partner*innen in Forschung, Beratung, Wissenskooperation und Ausbildung – begangen haben.
