This declaration of accessibility applies to the currently accessible online version of this website and refers to the result of a BITV test dated 31 March 2023.

This website is currently being updated and adapted to the requirements, and there are plans for a future relaunch. The website has been tested against the WCAG’s A and AA Success Criteria, which it already fulfils in many cases.

Enforcement procedure

An arbitration service has been established under the Federal Government Commissioner for Matters relating to Persons with Disabilities, in line with Section 16 of the German Act on Equal Opportunities for Persons with Disabilities (BGG). Arbitration proceedings can be initiated by the service upon request.
Section 16 of the BGG states that the job of the arbitration service is to resolve accessibility disputes between persons with disabilities and public authorities out of court. Unlike many legal proceedings, arbitration proceedings are free of charge. They do not require the involvement of a legal advisor.
The focus is not on identifying a winner or a loser, but rather on jointly resolving the conflict with the assistance of the arbitration service.
You can find more information on the arbitration proceedings here.
