research assistant
Project description:
BioCAM4 develops methodologies for mapping Nature-based Climate Action (NBCA) trends worldwide and assessing local opportunities and challenges for NBCAs with dedicated deep-dive studies in two world regions. Focus lies on the climate-biodiversity interdependence, bringing together the broad concept of Nature-based Solutions and collaborative climate actions by non-state and subnational actors.
Tasks:
The research assistant provides support to BioCAM4. Tasks include assistance in:
- the collection of literature and data
- data-entry
- preparation of project calls and meetings
- assistance with data analysis
- other tasks relevant to the project.
Requirements: (e.g.)
- Enrolment as a master’s student in a German university
- available to work in Bonn, and at least 8 hrs/week
- Interest in the substance of the project
- Sufficient command of the English language in a working environment
- Basic knowledge of MS Word, good knowledge of Excel
- Experience with statistical programs (e.g. STATA, R, SQL) is an advantage.

This job offer is exclusively for enrolled students. Applicants must be currently enrolled in a master’s programme at a German University. Candidates who already have a master’s degree are unfortunately not eligible for formal reasons, even if they are enrolled in another master’s programme.
